Do You Know What Time It Is?

Pottering around in my home one night, thinking about what to write and getting ready to hit the sack, it suddenly dawned on me that it was way past my bedtime. Given the chance, I’m in bed at 10pm. Then my thought was, do you know what time it is?

My Point

Worthy daily living advice is one that leads you to your purpose and above all one that leads you to God, your Creator.

We are constantly reminded about the return/coming back of Jesus Christ by the many occurrences, as predicted by Him, which serve as signs and clues already happening with increasing frequency –

Matthew 24:6 -7 KJV – And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Matthew 24:12 KJV – And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Luke 21:10 – 11 KJV -Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

The clear message from the above scripture passages is that: there will be an increase of
lawlessness and anarchy; there will be persecution of Christians and a time of general trouble. I ask again, do you know what time it is? because that time is now!

Yet the people of the world sit around unmoved in their unbelief and waiting to see what will happen! Not only that, some believers are slacking in the things of God and the things they know to be true to the extent of playing around with sin and wondering how long they can have both worlds – one foot in the world and the other in the Kingdom of God taking the precious period of grace we have presently for granted.

I can tell you something, Jesus is coming back and very soon too.

Friend, you will find many websites wanting to give you advice in many areas but this area which I believe is most important is not always talked about. Do you know what time it is?

True, the apostle Paul said, “That day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God” (II Thessalonians 2:3-4). This still doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get our acts together, the son of perdition could show up the next minute (ha! that got you). I’m not saying it will happen that way or that soon. The question is, what if it does?

What I am saying brethren is that, it’s time to wake up and fill our lamps with oil.The Bridegroom will soon be at the door – the rapture may happen sooner than we think. Are you ready?

Things are happening so fast, people are dying and some of them so unexpectedly. Just this last week on Monday, a dear cousin of mine passed away leaving her husband and children behind. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought she would go like that. She was only 58! Do you know what time it is?

I don’t know about you but I’m watching the times so keenly and I’m not allowing the devil’s ploy/ distraction in any form make me lose focus – a death over here, an accident over there or even some Christian messing up right next to me . Talking about daily living advice, I would say stay away from things that draw you further away from Jesus. He is coming back!

I have made up my mind, I will not be afraid of evil tidings. My heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. My heart is established……..

Please heed this wake up call, now’s the time to be more steadfast.

I’ve got to go now, catch you later. In the meantime have an awesome week.
I love y’all
